Deputy Defence Minister Marian Majer said: “The Federal Republic of Germany is Slovakia's strategic partner and this also applies to such a key area of cooperation as defence and security, which is evidenced by the high level and scope of bilateral cooperation in this field.” As he explained, the SVK MOD is drafting a new Action Plan with Germany in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the SVK and DEU MODs. He also appreciated the collaboration with the Bundeswehr personnel posted to the NATO Force Integration Unit Slovakia (NFIU SVK).
