Mobilisation Ex BRATISLAVA 2021 is to test readiness of individual MOD and MOI security elements

In the days to come, Mobilisation Ex BRATISLAVA 2021 is to test the readiness of the Defence and Interior Ministries' individual security elements to carry out tasks in the event of declaration of the state of war and armed forces mobilisation. The exercise will take place from 8 to 10 September 2021.
On the mobilisation exercise, Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď said: “This is a regular cycle of exercises the aim of which is to test the readiness of selected regional state administration and local government bodies to undertake assigned tasks. This time we will be exercising across the Bratislava region, while the selected bodies will test their coordination and experience the realism of performing assigned tasks according to the processed plans.”
As part of this simulation exercise, also tested will be the system for calling up reservists to execute “exceptional service” duties and other tasks that arise to natural persons and legal entities from the Slovak Republic Defence Act, especially those connected with work assignments and handover of material assets.
The exercise will be run by the MOD's Human Resources Department, the Strategic Planning Staff at the SVK Defence Staff, and the MOI's Crisis Management Department.
Among the exercise participants are staffs from the Bratislava, Pezinok and Senec County Offices, Higher Territorial Unit Bratislava, HQ Bratislava Garrison, National Military Movements Centre Bratislava and Slovak Post JSC.
