Ukrainian Defence Minister Olexii Reznikov sends a message to Slovakia: “On behalf of all Ukrainians, I extend my thanks to you for what you are doing for us“

Slovakia is the right neighbour and Ukraine appreciates Slovakia's assistance very much, Ukrainian Defence Minister Olexii Reznikov announced today at the Ukraine Donors' Conference in Copenhagen, with Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď in attendance.
In a short video message addressed to Slovak citizens, Olexii Reznikov said: “On behalf of all Ukrainians, I am turning to the Slovak Nation and I extend my warm thanks to you for what you are doing for us. We value your support such as that by the right neighbour – and unlike with our northern neighbour – thereʼs no need for concerns over our common border. I believe that Ukraine with the support of the Slovak Nation and other partners and allies will defeat its enemy. The truth will prevail. Together to victory!”
In response, Jaroslav Naď said: “I am pleased to hear that Ukraine perceives Slovakiaʼs selfless assistance as a clear signal that in these critical times we are more than a reliable partner for Ukraine. We must not allow peaceful coexistence between nations to be threatened by the states that grossly violate international standards and civic and political freedoms.”
At the Copenhagen Conference, 26 EU and NATO Defence Ministers met to discuss the latest tranche of military aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to include equipment, materiel, training and funding. The Copenhagen talks at the defence ministerial level were initiated and co-hosted by Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Denmark.
